Running alongside SHINE 2025, The CBN Partner Program is a complimentary program designed for partners and family members of full-paying delegates.  

Join us for two days of unique experiences, exploring the highlights of Canberra - Australia’s bush capital! From sporting excellence, and farm to plate dining, to the iconic Royal Australian Mint and spectacular views of Mount Ainslie, you’ll be thoroughly entertained!

The partner program meets each day at the conference venue, The National Convention Centre – Canberra from 9.30am.


Day 1: A Taste of Canberra

Australian Institute of Sport

  • Step into Australia's home of elite athletes for a 90-minute immersive experience.
  • Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour surrounded by iconic sporting memorabilia, a possible glimpse of Australia’s future Olympians in training, and test your sporting skills in an interactive Zone at Sportex.

    • Relax and refuel at this local Canberra gem, where everything is grown, roasted, baked, and brewed onsite.
    • Enjoy a guided garden tour before a gourmet a farm-to-plate lunch, celebrating seasonal produce.

      Cockington Green Gardens

      • Explore this delightful, family-run attraction featuring handcrafted miniature buildings and international landmarks.
      • Experience a miniature steam train ride and interactive model trains.

      Day 2: Australian Heritage & Panoramic Views

      Royal Australian Mint

      • A fascinating visit to the sole producer of Australia’s circulating coins.
      • ·Includes a guided tour to see how coins are made and time to explore exhibits.

      Gold Creek Station

      • Swap city sights for a working sheep farm offering true Aussie hospitality.
      • Enjoy a classic BBQ lunch and witness sheepdog and shearing demonstrations.

      Mount Ainslie Lookout

      • Experience one of Canberra’s most stunning panoramic views.
      • Take in the grand symmetry of the city’s design and iconic landmarks from above.
